Cumberland Trail State Park (TN)

In January 2007, a company came into the Deep Creek Gorge Area of the Cumberland Trail State Park and began a large-scale excavation operation for sandstone rock. The state of Tennessee has sued, and SELC - on behalf of 14 groups - has filed a "friend of the court" brief in support. (Photos: Cumberland Trail State Park.)
